Hello, fiends! I'm Larry, and I am the head maker of dreadful things behind Grindhouse EFX. In other words...I'm the inmate running the asylum!
It's been my dream for years to create monsters, madmen, and other ghoulish things that go bump in the night. I've been working to perfect my craft in special effects makeup for over 9 years now! I started learning when I started working at Hacker House as a teenage zombie, and I've never looked back since.
I've dreamed for 3 years now about getting Grindhouse EFX off the ground. It started out in 2009 under the name "Nightmare Hollow Productions". I had a few false starts here and there, but nothing concrete. I took some time to perfect my image of what I thought what would eventually become GHEFX should be...now, three years later, you're looking at the twisted offspring of all that thinking!
More product will be added in the months to come - more prosthetics, more masks, foam latex pieces, props, and the like. However, there's plenty here to grab so you can make yourselves ugly...just in time for Halloween!
So, stay awhile...the film is just unspooling. You're the star, scream queen/king and monster indivisible! Which will you be? The choice is up to you!
